I have never thought of sin the way that you explained here with the sowing seed verses. I thought of those verses as referring to good seed, and the sowing of the Word. You have given me something to think more about and study.

This is an interesting subject. There are two kinds of fear....fear meaning respect and fear meaning to be afraid of something or someone. For the person who will not receive Jesus into their life the eternal destination is hell. To the person who receives Jesus into their life but is bullheaded about bending their will to Jesus' teaching and resists the promptings of the Holy Spirit to change their attitude, they will be saved but may not fare well at the Judgement Seat of Christ. This is not a judgement that results in Heaven or hell, but is a judgement of what a person did with their life on the earth after receiving Jesus into their life. I am thankful that God is a Righteous Judge and has ALL the facts at His disposal. How I am Judged at that time will be totally appropriate.
I would absolutely rather clean the streets of gold in Heaven with a toothbrush than be a prince in hell.

Dear Ms. Miller,
I pray for you and Mr. Miller in the ministry which God has empowered and blessed you both to do.

Having become a recent widow, my moments in life are devastating in trying to work through the grief and overwhelms of this life. I cling and sing Psalm 61:2, 28:7, 143:8 and 55:17 very often.

I do know:
My life's path is His plan
By His hand
I must continue not to look out or in
but up - to Him.

I want to thank you for your articles - Proverbs devotional - and your website. This article on Fear has been reassuring and reminds me of His truths and help while on this path. Continued prayers for your ministry and may you be more blessed.
Praises to Him - Tina
